Simply constructed and minimally finished, 3 Over 4 Dresser was designed to provide everyday functionality.

A simple construction of exposed laminations of 3/4" pre-finished plywood was used to form an elevated box. Finishing is limited to clear coating the exposed edges.

The face of the dresser is a simple composition of positive and negative space. Juxtaposed against the ordered grid formed by drawers, the negative space resulting from staggered finger pulls brings movement to the piece. The rail base supports are recessed and inset to allow the piece to achieve lightness by hovering. The splayed leg extends the horizontal line.
